St. Francis Preschool is designed for two, three, and four-year-olds. In a caring and positive atmosphere, we create a warm and happy place for preschool children to learn. We offer developmentally appropriate activities that will help prepare your children for academic success.

Our program emphasizes "faith development in our children," helping them to build trust, hope, creativity, and joyful hearts. As a Christian church, we place Jesus Christ at the center of all we do.

Curriculum Goals

Our curriculum is designed to help children be excited about learning and learn through developmentally appropriate activities. We provide activities that help prepare them for academic success. Our three-year-old classes receive a written evaluation in mid-January, and our four-year-old classes have parent/teacher conferences at the end of January with an evaluation of their child: emotionally, socially, and academically. They will discuss their upcoming Kindergarten year.

We have 3 daughters, and they have been in daycare and preschool since they were very young. Our youngest was overwhelmed in the larger preschools. Therefore, a friend of ours (whose child also attends St. Francis) recommended the preschool to us. We appreciate the small class sizes and the family atmosphere. Our daughter is very shy, but she opened up quickly to her teacher and loves all of her friends. As parents we appreciate the small class size, the good communication from the preschool and the wonderful care out daughter receives. Her class baked a cake when it was a teacher’s birthday, which our daughter talked about for days. They make beautiful artwork with the children and play and sing with them every day. It was wonderful to watch their Christmas performance, which even included the youngest kids. We adore her teacher, who treats her like family. Overall, we are completely happy with St. Francis preschool and will keep her there until she goes to Kindergarten.

St. Francis has been a great school for our family. Our children have just loved the school. Our fourth child currently attends the school. What has stood out to us is how much the teachers care. Each of our children have felt loved. The director Pam Cook is wonderful and the staff she has are all caring and loving. We always feel well informed and pictures are shared daily. My family has been part of the St. Francis community for over 15 years and there is a reason for that – they are absolutely the best program around! My three older daughters attended from 2009-2013 and so many incredible memories were made. Homemade gifts, countless artwork, field trips, music classes, holiday performances, and many opportunities for parent involvement, coupled with the dedication and passionate and loving staff made St. Francis the ONLY option when it was time to enroll our 2 year old this year. To be able to maintain and foster that same sense of community my older girls were blessed with so many years ago speaks to the integrity and commitment St. Francis Preschool has for every child that walks through those doors each day. I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and nurturing environment, and I am thrilled with the care all four of my girls were fortunate enough to experience!
