Telra Institute
In the summer of 2022, Telra Institute Charter School became our new neighbor and community partner. Telra Institute is a tuition-free charter school providing a challenging, accelerated, and differentiated experience for advanced learners in K-5th grade. Common Heart
Growing into a small revolution of kindness, loving our neighbors, and serving those in need. As the small revolution matures, it is becoming increasingly about empowering folks to move out of poverty.
Boy Scout Troop 15
Troop 15 was established in Mecklenburg County in 1918. It has been sponsored by several different organizations since inception. In April 1991, St. Francis United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC chartered Troop 15. Troop 15 is affiliated with Cub Scout Pack 15, which also meets at St. Francis. Parents of boys age 6-10 should visit the Pack 15 website.
Girl Scouts
Success looks different to every girl, but whatever it means to her, we'll help her get there! At Girl Scouts, your girl will discover who she is, what she's passionate about, and what she wants to achieve - both today and in the future. Make a bunch of new friends and have a ton of new experiences that show you how exciting the world is, and how awesome you are. St. Francis is the host to several girl scout troops.
Answer Scholarship
Helping more women achieve their dream of a college education and economic advancement. We provide college scholarships, mentoring, and professional development to moms in Mecklenburg and eight surrounding counties in the Carolinas.
